Work Experience in Healthcare
Curious about a career in healthcare? Primary care is the beating heart of our health system where doctors, nurses, and primary care teams make a real difference every day.
Why Work Experience Matters in Healthcare
Getting real-life experience in a healthcare setting is one of the best ways to explore your future career. It shows you're serious about making a difference and gives you a true glimpse into what working with patients is actually like. You’ll pick up key skills like listening, caring for others, and working as part of a team that aren't just useful in healthcare but in everyday life too.
Plus, having this kind of experience makes your applications stand out and helps you feel more confident when stepping into training or a job. It’s not just about ticking a box, it’s about growing, learning, and proving you’re ready to take on the challenge.

It's simple to use, focused on safeguarding both patients and learners, and aims to open the door for more young people to gain valuable insights into primary care.
