Respiratory assessment study day

The Programme:

• Taking a history to include COPD and Asthma assessment theory, physical examination theory, BTS guidance adult and child around diagnosis.

• Afternoon session practical's, immersion room A+P, listening to each others chests with a scenario about asthma role play, peak flow, sats , demonstrating inhaler technique for an MDI. Manikins with different chest sounds and linking to patient conditions such as heart failure, copd, asthma, anapylaxis, pneumonia, CURB score.
