Non Medical Prescribing Update (NMP) – Using the Prescribing Competency Framework

Using the competency framework (CF) is a cornerstone for good practice for all prescribers. A case study approach is taken to facilitate discussion around good and poor practice in various scenarios. Group interaction around prescribing behaviours and sharing these approaches allows the CF to be used to enhance prescribing skills as aligned to individual practice. 

The session is designed to support reflection on peoples’ own practice to maintain professional revalidation.
