Engaging Patients in Clinical Trials

This session will focus on the why and how of the EMIS tool Recruit, a tool for identifying patients for clinical trials.

The session will explore the importance of engaging patients in clinical trials, how best to have these patient conversations, how it can support GPs to widen local access to trials for communities that often don’t get access, and all the key basics on using EMIS Recruit.

Although the session will include a helpful demo of EMIS Recruit, it will mostly be interactive and discussion focused and aimed at engaging 

practice staff to start using the tool to identify patients and how to engage with patients for recruitment into clinical trials.
