Mental Health Training and Development 2024

South West London Training Hub is pleased to offer a suite of training for staff working across primary care.

About the Course

About the Programme

The programme includes topics relevant for reception and administrative colleagues, as well as some targeted specifically at Practice Management, ARRS and Clinical colleagues.


Staff are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to support professional and personal development. The Training Hub appreciate work is very busy and recognise General Practice is under significant pressure. We would however like to maintain the high level of participation on this programme with low DNA rates, to enable the maximum number of staff to participate. Previously, most of the courses were fully subscribed within a short period of time and, you are advised to register early.


Engagement

  • All courses are delivered virtually via Teams or Zoom unless specified Dates are offered from May 2024 onwards.

  • Additional dates will be added based on demand and need. Your locality Training Hub will be providing regular updates on new topics and dates. Where places are fully subscribed, do add your name to the waiting list to be offered priority place on future dates.

  • Significant public funds are being invested on these programmes to support staff development.

  • Attendance/Non-attendance reports will be produced and shared with your local Training Hub team and line management.

  • To ensure a high-quality learning experience, all the workshops will be interactive. To enable this, you should have a working camera and microphone in order to participate.

  • Learners are expected to join in a timely manner, and participate in the training fully. Those attempting to joining late may not be given entry.

  • Partial participation will result in certificate not being issued.

  • Joining links will be circulated 48 - 72 hours prior to delivery date.

  • Once delegates book on a course, they are expected to ensure diary is blocked to participate in the session.

  • Learners will need to ensure protected time, space and equipment is accessible prior to registering. This should be a place and time with minimal distraction and it is anticipated. Practice Management will support staff to facilitate this.

  • We expect all learners to participate in the evaluation process of the programme. Certificates will only be issued on completion of the evaluation forms.

  • CPD certificates will be issued within 4 weeks of delivery of each course.
