About the event
Overview
The key objective of this workshop is to enable all practice staff, regardless of role, to understand the importance of resilience in the workplace, and how it can help to avoid issues such as poor staff retention, absenteeism, low mood and poor productivity. The workshop will provide delegates with an opportunity to learn strategies which enable them to cope with adversity and emerge on the other side as a strengthened and more resourceful person.
The topics that will be covered include;
- Strategies for influencing our personal resilience
- The importance of chemicals in our brains for boosting our mood and sense of wellbeing
- How to recognise unhelpful thinking traps that can hinder our mood
- The importance of “stability zones” to ensure on-going resilience
