Non-Medical Prescribing Update – Common Childhood Infections

This   CPD by Clinical Pharmacologist Dr Rees comprises a one-hour video, as well as a live interactive session (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours) to review the prescribing management for common childhood conditions. The video comprises of thrush, head lice, impetigo, threadworms and scabies and the live case will be based on ear infections. The main learning objectives are to review the prescribing decisions for common childhood infections; to review the therapeutics of the key anti-infective drug classes and refresh best practice for safety netting in paediatric prescribing.

The video will be sent approx. 1 week prior to the MS Teams session.
