Non Medical Prescribing Update – Bone Health

This update has been designed to explore prescribing practice in the field of bone health and osteoporosis. There will be a narrated video covering the aspects of bone health relating to age, lifestyle and morbidities, followed by assessment and complications of osteopenia/porosis. The evidence-based management of osteoporosis will then be reviewed. The live session will comprise a case study on osteoporosis to further discuss the key themes for managing the condition, with emphasis on the safe and effective use of the relevant medicines.
