Mentoring Training

Please note this is a 2-day course over these dates; 19th January 2023 and 31st January 2023. Please ensure you are committed to attend both training days.

This programme is designed to support the professional development of managers mentoring other staff, including junior staff, administrators, nurses, AHPs and students.

Learning outcomes

Delegates will be able to:

• Understand the purpose and process of mentoring
• Appreciate the responsibilities of a mentor in developing others
• Understand the psychographics of mentoring and assess own ability to be an effective mentor
• Be able to use a coaching model to plan and facilitate a mentoring conversation
