About the event
The Mental Health First Aid England course raises awareness of mental health with a focus on the workplace and is directed towards managers/supervisors, HR staff, well-being representatives as well as organization policymakers.
It covers:
· What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
· Factors which affect mental health
· A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues & Spotting signs of distress
· An introduction to looking after your mental health and maintaining wellbeing
· Stress and stress management
· Recovery
· Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
· Take 10 Together - starting a supportive conversation
· Supporting mental health in the workplace
