About the event
This practical session is designed to support practice managers and senior staff to confidently set up safe, person-centred delegation and supervision arrangements across multidisciplinary teams (MDTs).
With increasing workforce diversity in primary care, effective delegation and supervision are essential to ensure patient safety, staff wellbeing and service efficiency. This session will explore how to structure supervision in a way that is both clinically safe and supportive, with clear accountability and governance.
The course will also focus on how to deliver high-quality 1:1s and appraisal conversations that genuinely support performance, engagement and retention. Attendees will learn how to standardise feedback, set meaningful objectives, and create development plans that align both individual goals and organisational priorities.
By the end of the session, participants will have a suite of practical templates and conversation frameworks they can implement immediately within their own practice.
