An Introduction to LGBTQI+ Inclusive Care

This webinar is Part One of a two-webinar series, covering non-clinical aspects of LGBTIQ+ affirmative patient management. It is designed as an introduction to key concepts in supporting LGBTIQ+ patients including:

● LGBTIQ+ language and terminology

● Pronouns and inclusive language

● Barriers to equitable care

● Differences in the LGBTIQ+ cancer patient experience

● Patient data and management

● Building inclusive environments

Part Two extends this learning into best practice during cancer screening and care, and takes a closer look at how the LGBTIQ+ cancer patient experience may differ. We recommend that you attend these sessions in order as Part Two builds upon knowledge covered in this first webinar.
